another close shave gel
Product No. 1917: In honor of the Shackleton Expedition to Antarctica.
LATHERS WELL—SHAVES CLEAN—SMELLS LIKE DANGER.
In the old days, "scrape" was the slang term for shave, and for good reason. Shaving takes a toll on your skin. Give your face a break with our simple, wholesome gel. It's slick as hell and makes a long-lasting lather: just the safeguard you need between you and your razor. It's concentrated, so a little bit goes a long way. And the essential oils in our formula combine to make this shave gel smell like the great outdoors.
This all-natural men's shaving gel is made with bentonite clay and these benficial ingredients:
Aloe and Shea Butter are hydrating, so your skin won't bark at you after you're done shaving.
Saponified oils of Coconut, Olive and Sunflower are lather-it-up cleansers that do their work gently.
Witch Hazel is a natural astringent that helps close pores.
Castor Oil is rich...and nurturing to skin.
Calendula helps heal skin, which is helpful if you're an unsteady hand when shaving.
Bentonite Clay is finely-weathered volcanic ash... it wicks toxins and impurities away from the skin and helps hold beneficial oils and extracts so they can do their good work without evaporating too quickly.
Rosemary is good for circulation, which is good for skin-healing.
Marshmallow Root helps your face feel less raw.
Vetiver is a natural-born antiseptic, with a manly scent.
DIRECTIONS: Shake before use. In your hands, work a small amount into a slick lather and apply to the skin before shaving. Stays slick and lathered for your whole shave.

Gives a Great Close Shave
I have your 'Another Great Shave'. I used the 'Another Great Shave' this morning and wanted to give you my impressions of it. A truly great shave even if my razor, I discovered, wasn't as sharp as it could be. Great cushion and ease of shave, left my face with barely any irritation (very sensitive skin, always a little irritation). But, isn't here always a but, I had some issues with building a lather. First of all, I am a cold water shaver due to a mild case of Rosacea (heat provokes it) and had to whip up the lather for over two minute in a bowl to get a lather that didn't dissipate quickly. It did not affect the shave ability of the gel. After my shave I test whipped up a bowl full using hot/warm water and developed a stronger lather that seemed to hold together longer. In no way did the lack of suds affect the fine quality of the shave I got. I am concerned that as far as I can tell, many shavers think it's the abundance and density of the lather that does the job as opposed to what the gel is offering - an invisible barrier that gives close results.
The Perfect Shaving Gel
In my quest to leave cheap shaving foam behind I have tried many shaving oils and shaving gels. This is one of the best options. - a little goes a long way, so it is economical. - it doesn't leave your skin dry like shaving soaps. - it doesn't leave your skin oily like shaving oils - it doesn't clog my razor like mainstream shaving gels. It provides a very close shave. It is mildly astringent, has a very subtle pine scent, and the smooth light feel of Aloe Vera (the main ingredient). My razor glides over my skin. Its definitely worth trying.
